The "Adjusting Popper Pins" fell apart and are essentially useless. Is there a more reliable alternative? The unit itself suits me fine.Bought this right when Covid started and the gyms were all closing. It's not commercial gym quality by any stretch, but it's suitable for a home gym. I don't go heavier than 150 on barbell and it's stable. Plates on the pegs certainly helps to stabilize the rack. One of the support arms was delivered crushed and unusable. Support was great; Evan shipped the replacement, no questions asked and it arrived quickly. If you want something that is professional gym grade construction you will need to spend a little more. This unit is priced right for what it is and I'm happy with it. It works fine (I've been using it for a couple of months now) and functions fine, but just know it isn't that rock solid heavy gauge iron like you'll see at the gym. I use and extra set of rubber coated 45lbs plates to help anchor it to the concrete floor in my home gym. It has two bars that stick out for stacking plates on as seen in the picture and I do recommend leaving some plates on there permanently for stability. I also have a dumbbell rack behind it which it rests on for even more stability. When I'm squatting and step back to set the bar on the rack when it is at it's highest setting (I'm 6'3"), it is a little less than rock solid, but it works fine. One of the "towers" leans to one side slightly because as seen in the picture there is no cross support midway up as it would be in the way when using as a bench press rack. This leaning does not really bother me or affect it's functionality.I would buy it again and am happy with it for the $$One reason I like this rack is that it has a couple spotters on it. I find this great to allow me to bench more without the fear of a bar with my body weight pinning me to the bench. I can only bench my bodyweight as of this writing, but that is still 150 lbs. So I like the spotters. I like the variable heights and the fact this duals as a squat rack. All of that is great. What I dislike about the rack is the lack of rubber feet, and the fact it his no support higher up. This is only an annoyance, but if I am in a hard training session I don't want to worry about bumping this and having it shift on the floor. I'm thinking about getting a couple rubber floor pads to set this on so it will stop slipping on my floor. I can't imagine everyone has this problem though. And I really dislike how wobbly the top of the stand feels. I think if the rack had one more support that wrapped around the top of the back it would stop the rack from splaying out or shaking when I nudge it on a concentric press. For the price the rack isn't bad. I do think I could have received a much better product for a little more.Decent rack for the home gym, stable with the weight racked at the bottom, the top section is very secured, with three pin securing each rack, so you don't need to worry about it suddenly fall off. However some small plastic cover parts were missing, but not very important, and also some parts were pre-assembled out of box (few bolts, cover and rubber garments), but stated in the instruction to be installed, I don't know why, but as far as it doesn't affect my training I don't care.I wouldn't max out the weight while training, especially when nobody is around, and always be careful when using it, after all it is still a home gym piece, not commercial heavy duty gym equipment. I also purchased the Valor DD-21 for pressing exercise, but haven't received it yet, I will update this review. If you guys have question please comment, maybe I can help out before you purchase them for your man cave.It appeared used when I got it. Well packaged, but used (dents in the metal, scratches, bent washers, etc.). It was fairly easy to put together, but some parts definitely require two sets of hands, so have a buddy around to help. It took my wife and I maybe an hour from start to finish. A tip: use the diagram they give you and lay everything out so you know where it will go before you get started. Once it's together it's not fully adjustable - the pins don't have a hole right where I'd like to place them, so I have to go a little above or a little below every time, depending on what I'm working on. Other than this disappointment with construction and the condition of the pieces, it's safe, it's solid, it's held up over time, and I'm glad I went with this one instead of the rest that were $50 - $100 more.Bought as a birthday gift for my 15 yo son. We started using the rack 3 times per week through the stay at home order. The stabilizing cross bar has become so loose that the entire rack shifts as much as 10 inches. The culprit appears to be the bolts used to secure the stabilizing cross bar. 3 of the 4 bolts have loosened and return to a loose state shortly after each session.A good product however, I am a little disappointed with the stability of this item. It is not sturdy enough to suit my expectations with minimal weight on it and it is not wide enough by about 4 inches. The assembly directions were lacking. Fortunately it is fairly simple to put together because the directions are not that detailed. Overall it does what I need it to do and given the price, it is what I paid for, there are more expensive items that offer more stability I'm sure. The stability and width and assembly directions are my small concerns although would not prevent me from recommending it or buying it again, just small improvements that could be made to make it a 5 star product for the money.Decent shakes a bit when racking and unracking from the weight holders and bar.goodreceived the shipment and the parts were all bent up. Also the plastic piece that came with the bench was broken:(if anyone knows the phone number to valor fitness let me know
